Martin Holt is a leading Israeli cartoonist. He was born in London and emigrated to Israel after graduating in architecture at University College London. After a successful career as an independent architect in Tel-Aviv he turned to painting, caricature, and cartoons. His work is well known internationally and he has had many exhibitions throughout the world. Humor has always been a force to bind together the varied social communities found in Israel.
