Sarah Bahbah (born December 1991 in Perth, Australia) is a Palestinian-Jordanian photographic artist and director based in Los Angeles. Her work is known for its cinematic imagery and emotionally direct text, exploring intimacy, vulnerability, identity, and contemporary relationships. Bahbah’s photography articulates a wide emotional spectrum from a predominantly female perspective, addressing longing for connection, fear of commitment, emotional ambivalence, and the tension between desiring intimacy and seeking solitude. Drawing on personal experience and cultural context, her work foregrounds emotional honesty and challenges social taboos. 

She rose to international prominence with her series Sex and Takeout and has since exhibited widely, including at Saatchi Gallery London, Zona Maco in Mexico, and Scope Art Basel. Bahbah has also independently self-funded multiple international solo exhibitions with significant public attendance. She is the founder of the creative agency Possy and the author of the monograph Dear Love, which spans more than a decade of her work.
