Edu Carrillo

Edu Carrillo (b. 1995, Santander, Spain) is a contemporary artist whose paintings and drawings explore themes of love, friendship, fantasy, music, dance, and the natural world. A graduate of Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, Carrillo creates vibrant, dreamlike compositions populated by expressive figures influenced by contemporary fashion and 1990s skater culture. Through bold colors, intuitive gestures, and playful imagery, his work reflects the aesthetics and experiences of his generation while embracing spontaneity, movement, and imagination. Carrillo has exhibited internationally, with presentations at institutions, galleries, and art fairs including ARCO Madrid, Untitled Art Fair Miami, JPS Gallery, and L21 Gallery.
