Alexander Klevan was born in Siberia, Russia in 1950. Between 1974 and 1979 he studied art at 'The Academy for Monumental Art Design' in Lvov, Ukraine. Immediately after finishing his studies here he became a teacher at the 'School of Art Design' in Lvov, instructing in painting and composition. In the early 1980s Klevan began exhibiting his art through his participation in general art exhibitions throughout the USSR as well as some international exhibitions. By 1991 and 1992 He submitted art into group exhibitions in the United states and Canada. Between 1995 and 2009 Alexander Klevan has participated in a multitude of personal exhibitions as well as some general art shows.
