Tristan Rà was born in Paris in 1945. He enrolled in medical school but then decided to become a night nurse in order to attend drawing studios during the day. Since 1970 definitively devoting himself to painting, living in Vallauris and then in Latin America and once he returned to France, he established himself in Var with long stays in North Africa. From 1981 to 1985, he once again traveled the world: Moorea and Marquesas Islands, Mali, Morocco, India, Turkey and Tunisia, where he lived in Sidi Bou Said. He is a painter- traveler who has exhibited all over the world: Paris, London, Geneva, Brussels, New York, Singapore, Istanbul, Stuttgart, Seoul, Hong Kong and of course Tunis. The works of Tristan Rà appear in many private collections.
