My work has always followed a number of directions simultaneously.  This includes ideas in drawing and painting as well as welded aluminum sculptures, welded bronze sculptures, cast bronze sculptures and fabricated and welded steel painted sculptures. My welded works tend to be larger and often deal with my response to social and political issues.  Aside from these ideas, in a much more aesthetically formal way, I also approach and explore the environment and our interaction with it. I am always influenced by personal observations and physical experiences in nature.
